In case anyone is confused, North Carolina makes me giggle. I have a snow day today. My fancy weather app says I'm to expect accumulation of 1 to 3 inches. Read that again. Inches. I giggle because I remember walking to school in more than 3 inches of snow. I also giggle because once, in high school, I took the dog out for a walk around the house. The snow in the yard was halfway up my thighs. And now I don't have to work over 1 inch of snow. I love this place! I wonder what would happen here if the snow ever got thigh high? Declare a state of emergency? Anyone know? Has that ever happened?
