there is no post title, only Zuul.

I guess I'll be posting more often. Otherwise Lady Megan of Rudolphia gets on my case. "You know you haven't blogged in 6 days?" I'm sorry, Your Highness.

So Saturday was my 5K. I didn't run. Or walk. See, my ankle thought it would be a good idea to start hurting last Sunday. For two days it hurt so bad I was hopping around on one foot. I did, however, end up going downtown to the race to see if I could help in any way. The woman I asked was kind of rude when she said no. So instead I walked over to the Market House, possibly accidentally disabled a cache, went back home, and went back to sleep. My ankle's feeling better now, and I hope to be able to start running again soon.

Jason's birthday is next Saturday. So everyone be sure to wish him a happy (or crappy) birthday.

Also next Saturday is.........Iowa football! Yay! To get all pumped up, I'm going to be watching (at least the end of) the 2005 Capital One Bowl on Sunday morning. I think it's the perfect game to get me all pumped up for a season that will probably end up 3-9.

Matt and Yzma have fleas. It's pretty gross. They're super fleas. They won't die. But I got their vet records in the mail yesterday, so I'm going to call and make an appointment for them to get a professional strength flea bath next week. And I'm going to set off a flea bomb in the apartment so they're good when they come back.

Okay, it's time to start the Overheard in the Library website. I'll start with Slightly pudgy dad to son coming down the stairs: I liked the elevator better.

And speaking of libraries and online stuff, my friend started this. I think it's a great idea, and I hope if you "qualify" as a young librarian, you'll think about submitting something.

And for the record, I had to look up the proper spelling of Zuul for the title. I always figured it was Zool.

OMG, please please please start the "Overhead in the Library" website!!!

I LOLed on "Super Fleas"... sounds like a band. I hate flea bombs. We used to do them constantly years ago because my cats had fleas at the time. I'm sure having pesticides all over our living space is really great for our health.

Signed,
Her Highness,
Lady Megan of Rudolphia
