Thanks to Jason for sending me this link: people rediscovering the library.
Today Mom and I went to The Quilt Junction in Valley Junction to check out their fabrics. Mom bought some for me and some for her. (Thanks again!) I got a couple of patterns for little wall quilts to make for Christmas presents. But the fabric I got was to make the Spider Pumpkin wall quilt I saw in Easy Quilts magazine and mentioned in my last post:
I got black and a couple of different oranges. I even cut out some of the pieces!
Matt saw Emmett today. Emmett did not see Matt. Matt looked very intrigued by the thing in the hallway that was walking but was not a cat and not a person.
I thought today would be the day I heard from the library about when I can start, since the county should've gotten my drug test results today. But no. Monday? Tomorrow I'm going to call the apartment lady (Betty) to see if they've looked over our application and decided one way or the other (please let us live there!). It would be nice to know, since Jason and I have both quit our jobs--his last day was "today" and mine is tomorrow--and are planning on moving next week.
As tomorrow is my last Saturday in Des Moines (unless something goes HORRIBLY wrong), I'm heading to the downtown Farmer's Market with Dad and Molly. Tear. And I say screw my diet, if I see Mast rolls, I'm eating them! Mmmmmm.........black raspberry gooeyness.
