omg, a post!

Apparently, if Megan isn't harassing me to post, I won't do it. Megan, get on that please.

So, a few things that are newish:

• as I was waiting for my food today at Bojangles, an older man said he liked my dress, because it's modest. I guess wearing a dress that hits the floor is modest? The top isn't terribly modest, but that's why I'm wearing a jacket over it. Then he asked me where I was from, and if Iowa has lots of modest people. I should've said "well, there are lots of Mennonites" and left it at that. Then he asked me what brought me all the way down here, and asked if I was a teacher. Can I just get my fried chicken and go back to work without people asking me random questions?
• Jason and I broke up, sooo.....yeah.
• Tara got married. That was super fun. I thoroughly enjoyed her wedding. The drive to and from Iowa, I did not enjoy. I hate that drive. It's long and Google Maps always tries to screw me over somehow.
• I've lost 16.6 pounds since January. Only 14 to go until I hit my target weight! After that, I still have some more to lose, but hey, target weight!
• Matt keeps gaining weight. I'm not really sure why. The cats are both eating weight loss food.
• I got my haircut. It's super short and super cute.
• I have a team at work--Team Erika. The team is the four people I supervise (Lois, Sarah, Trina, and Ashley) and Vera. I love it. I want to make them t-shirts.
• Next week, I'm doing a scavenger hunt downtown with JT, Steve and Kelly. It's going to be fun, I'm sure.
