hmm

I've decided that I must have been either a weird teenager or a happy teenager.  I didn't write poetry.  From what I understand, that's what teens do.  They write angsty poetry.  And then they look back on it later in life and think "wow, this is really bad.  Could I have been more melodramatic?"  I was melodramatic, for sure, but not in verse form.  What about you, my darling readers?  Did you write angsty poetry as a teen?  (Or non-angsty stuff that embarrasses you now?)

Nope, no poetry here. I could be a bit moody, but I "lost" myself in music, comic books and Stephen King novels.

I always thought poetry was dumb. However, I have hundreds of passed notes with my friends, mainly revolving around other people and prom, which were NOT DUMB.:)

Oh yeah, I wrote angsty poetry in high school. And college. Even some in grad school. Not all of it was terrible--but, yes, a good portion was.
