yippee!

I have a cavity! I haven't had a cavity in, oh, about 20 years. I get to go back to the dentist next week to have my teeth cleaned and my cavity filled. Awesome. I don't know what my two previous cavities looked like, because their locations made it fairly difficult to see them, but this one's right on top of my tooth. It's quite visible. And I have a tendency to roll my tongue over it frequently, which is how I discovered it in the first place. It doesn't hurt and isn't sensitive to heat or cold, so I'm just dandy with a hole in my tooth! On the paperwork I filled out this morning, I actually wrote "hole in tooth" as the reason for my visit. Luckily, next week the filling is the first part of the appointment, so any novocaine should have worn off by the time I get to work, 3 hours later.
